SJR Healthcare Technology announced the release of their 2021 HIPAA/OSHA training course that will include OSHA requirements for medical practices. For the first time, medical offices will be able to meet both the annual HIPAA and OSHA training in one session.

SJR has been assisting medical practices with Medicare (MIPS) and Medicaid (Meaningful Use) incentive programs support for the past nine years. The company began offering HIPAA annual assessments and training shortly after contracting with CASE – Regional Extension Center to assist over 200 medical providers throughout the state of Ohio to achieve CMS incentives.

The 2021 HIPAA/OSHA training class is provided at the medical offices locations or online and includes the following:

Cover the HIPAA Privacy Rule that requires covered entities apply appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the privacy of protected health information (PHI), in any form. See 45 CFR 164.530(c).
